The purpose of this website is to present a concise written narrative of all the major accomplishments of the 2nd Brigade, 501st Infantry Regiment and the 502nd Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). During Vietnam, the Soldiers of the 501st, 502nd and 2nd Brigade have demonstrated unpresented personal courage and sacrifice on the behalf of the unit and this country. This website provides a lasting homage filled with photographs and memoirs for Soldiers, past and present, so that we will never forget the rich history of the Units and the "Never Leave a Fallen Soldier Behind" motto.
Accounts of combat operations, awards, and citations are all factual, based on official records and documents. Statistics of enemy casualties and losses are based on actual body count, estimated body count or captured equipment or weapons count. No attempt has been made to alter the facts in anyway.
